Q: Several months ago, we purchased the Guitar Hero video game. I thought it was for my husband, but since then, we’ve added the drum set and a microphone to the collection. We’re now enjoying playing songs as a family with our 6-year-old daughter. We’re having a lot of fun playing the different instruments and trying new songs together, but I’m concerned about the suggestive or violent lyrics in many of the songs. Do you have any ideas for optimizing the benefits of playing together while minimizing the negatives?

I tend to agree. There is nothing that can substitute for playing the real thing (although I have to admit it is fun).
Possiby get your daughter a cheap guitar and see if she takes to playing it.
Hope someone provides a workable solution to the lyrics not being favorable.
