I think embracing media of the future is a great way to reach children on their level. Integrating educational materials into that media, where children are becoming or are facile, makes learning that much more immediate and fun. We need more educational and healthful applications that make media a healthy choice for kids and not a distraction from or distortion of reality. Using media, such as smartphones in the classroom, to empower children, empowers us all.
