I love this Q&A! My kids have one episode of Pingu as a bonus on the end of some other video. When they watched it (as 3- to 4-year-olds) they would explain it to me by saying things like, "He's sad!" or "He tricked him - he's hiding," or "Now they're friends." I liked that a lot better than seeing their eyes glaze over. (Plus, yeah, it is really funny!)
